Managing Director, Agrosolutions Group Ltd (official partner of Jebagro GmbH, Germany)
Jens Schenck is the managing director of the Agrosolutions Group, the official partner of Jebagro for Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, and Andean countries. Schenck has 20 years of experience working in agribusiness internationally. Starting his career with Helm AG in Germany in 2002, he managed worldwide purchases and marketing of the company’s fungicide portfolio. In 2005, he moved to a regional manager position for the markets of Central America and the Caribbean responsible for sales and marketing of the whole agro portfolio. During this time, he developed the regional banana business (including Colombia and Ecuador) together with Dr. Friedhelm Gauhl. In 2012, he transferred to a subsidiary in Colombia, leading sales and marketing in Central America, with added markets in Ecuador and Peru.
In 2015, Schenck moved to Panama where he founded the company Grupo Agrosol SA specializing in sales and marketing of agchems and fertilizers mainly in Central America, Caribbean, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. In 2017, the company was acquired by the Jebsen & Jessen Group. As managing director of the Agrosolutions Group, Schenck leads in sales, marketing, and financing of agchems, fertilizers and biologicals from Mexico, Central America, Caribbean and Andean countries down to Chile.
