Global R&D Product Design Manager – Rovensa Next
Johana Rincones Perez joined Tradecorp as the R&D Coordinator in 2021 and has been serving as Rovensa Next’s Global R&D Product Design Manager since 2022. She holds a biology degree from Universidad Simón Bolívar and a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry of Microorganisms from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) in Brazil. With over 16 years of experience in Industrial Biotechnology, Johana has contributed significantly to research, development, and innovation in leading biotechnology institutions. She has authored numerous scientific publications (h-index 13) and holds several patent applications (7 international, 2 granted). Currently, she oversees Rovensa Next’s Global Center for Research and Innovation in Biosolutions in the greater Campinas area, SP, Brazil, where a multidisciplinary team of scientists is responsible for developing global biosolutions based on microorganisms for the entire plant cycle.
